About Flat Stacks
Flat Stacks are collapsible, stackable, microwaveable, BPA and BPS-free, color-coded silicone food storage containers. They will declutter your kitchen and turn it into an organized, stress-free heaven leaving you feeling calm and freeing up more of your time and money to spend on the things you love.
Flat Stacks is a family owned and operated business, consisting of a mother and son team, based in Australia. Flat Stacks were created by Julie, mother of 3 turned entrepreneur, and her son Liam works with her. Julie takes care of product development, improvements, and quality control while Liam is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business.
We are Flat Stacks USA, part of the Ocean Sales Group of Companies and have been the distributor of Flat Stacks in North America for several years. We too are a small family business, based in Washington State in the USA, that started in 1983.
Flat Stacks bases are made of high-quality, food-grade silicone, not plastic. Silicone is a strong, flexible and durable material that can withstand extreme heat and cold without bending or cracking so it's very long-lasting. Unlike plastic containers, Flat Stacks will last you many years so you won't need to replace them saving you money and helping the environment. Silicone is also BPA and BPS free which means it's non-toxic and safe for you and your family. The Flat Stacks lids are made of a BPA and BPS free plastic.
Flat Stacks are microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer safe; however, we recommend washing the lids by hand as they will last far longer and won't lose their shape (as may happen in extra hot dishwashers) over time. Flat Stacks cannot be used in the oven because they have a plastic component underneath the lip to keep the container rigid and this would melt in the oven.
BPA and BPS are industrial chemicals, often used in plastic consumer goods like water bottles and containers. Some studies have linked them to various illnesses. BPA/BPS Free means they haven't been used in the production of the containers, and so is safe for your family to use.
Yes you can put soft foods and liquids like soups in your Flat Stacks; however, you do need to be careful not to put too much weight on the container as it could cause it to collapse and squash the food or liquid inside. Be especially careful if you're transporting liquids or squash-able foods in a backpack or bag not to put too much weight or pressure on the container as it could force the valve seal on top to push up and then it could leak.
Currently we only have them available as sets containing multiple Flat Stacks to offer you the best vlaue.

Through our Shopify checkout you can pay by Paypal, Visa, Mastercard and American Express and you can checkout extra fast if you have Apple, Google or Shopify Pay as these options store your payment information and import it automatically save you having to type out all your details.
Free shipping of orders $65+ before tax applies to shipping within the Continental USA*, but does not include: Hawaii, Alaska, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, or some remote military locations (these particular areas are calculated at checkout). Shipping will be processed as or USPS, UPS Standard in the USA.
Our service method will be USPS or UPS ground in the USA, which will provide an estimated arrival typical of 5-12 business days (for most locations) from the date of shipment. Flat Stacks USA / Ocean Sales Ltd. endeavors to fulfill online orders within 2-4 business days of receipt.

At Flat Stacks we really stand behind our product, we're a family business and we love the Flat Stacks and use them every day and we believe that you will love them as much as we do. However, if you're unhappy with your Flat Stacks for any reason you can return them within 30 days for a full refund.
Flat Stacks purchased from this online store are also backed by our 5-year limited, extended warranty against manufacturer's defects.
Wow 🤩 my order arrived for my flat stacks …. Yayay they are fabulous. Awesome colours.. I immediately threw out my old out dated containers and placed my flat stacks in the drawer.
Thank you to the company who notified me that my order had actually been stolen from Australia Post. The first I knew about it was from the company who immediately repackaged a new order and it has arrived. I highly recommend this company and their wonderful products.
